Challenge
A rural municipality in Saskatchewan needed a solution to address erosion at a culvert outfall as part of a new road construction project.
The Titan Solution
Titan supplied seven batch rolls of Concrete Canvas® CC8™ and transported them directly to the site. Based on site conditions, CC was selected as the ideal material. Titan also provided on-site installation assistance to ensure proper deployment.
Concrete Canvas® (CC) is a Geosynthetic Cementitious Composite Mat (GCCM), a factory-produced material combining cement within geosynthetic layers that hardens when hydrated for erosion control and weed suppression.
Achievement
A four-person crew successfully installed 343 ft² of CC8™ in just four hours, completing the project in one day and demonstrating the product’s effectiveness in erosion control and slope protection.
