Poorly constructed drainage ditch causing run off to flow into a nearby site with contaminated soil.
Titan Solution
This project features Bituminous Geomembrane (BGM) in a ditch lining application. A total of 34,200 m² and 15,860 m² of BGM was installed along nearly 2.0 km of drainage ditch on Highway 97C in British Columbia to improve drainage and divert precipitation runoff away from a nearby site with contaminated soil.
Bituminous geomembrane, known as BGM liner, is a specialty geomembrane with composite layers that make it stronger, more watertight, and more durable than resin-based geomembranes.
