Slope and Pipeline Protection

In Fall 2023, a construction site faced serious risks due to erosion and weathering that threatened the integrity of a slope and the safety of a buried pipeline. A permanent and robust solution was urgently needed to protect both elements from ongoing environmental damage.

The Titan Solution

Titan proposed and installed five bulk rolls of Concrete Canvas CCT2™, laid longitudinally to ensure full coverage of the slope and pipeline. The installation was carefully planned and executed to form a durable barrier, with strategic placement minimizing gaps and vulnerabilities.

Concrete Canvas® (CC) is a Geosynthetic Cementitious Composite Mat (GCCM), a factory-produced material combining cement within geosynthetic layers that hardens when hydrated for erosion control and weed suppression.

Achievement

The project successfully mitigated the risks posed by erosion and natural elements, delivering long-term protection for both the slope and buried pipeline through a resilient and environmentally conscious solution.
