Mine Pond Dam Raise Lining, BGM

A mine site in Northern Ontario was undertaking a pond dam raise lining project using BGM liner. This is not a conventional geomembrane and requires specialized installation techniques for efficient execution.

The project was progressing extremely slowly due to the selected installer's lack of experience with BGM. The general contractor was becoming increasingly frustrated with the slow production rate and it was becoming clear that project deadlines would not be met at that rate. Titan was called on to help speed up installation and complete the job.

Achievement

Titan's experienced field crew installed a record-breaking 9,347 m2 of BGM in 1 day while adhering to stringent quality control and safety audits. Our experience and expertise with BGM helped the contractor overcome previous delays and standby time, directly contributing to the project's successful completion. The general contractor quickly realized the value that Titan brings to installation projects.
