Challenge

The 2-acre yard site consisted of saturated soil and required stabilization to support heavy equipment traffic.


Titan Solution

The client was looking for a solution to stabilize saturated soils in their yard. We conducted an assessment of the site condition with the client on-site and determined that Swamp Grid® 40 would be the ideal solution for this site. Because it provides superior stabilization while helping to prevent fines from migrating back up into the good granular and also allows for sub-base drainage We supplied 8,000m² for the 2 acre site.

 

Swamp Grid® is an advanced composite geogrid product consisting of our Titan Earth Grid® heat-bonded to a long-fiber PET nonwoven geotextile.

Achievement

Swamp Grid® was the best long-term solution for this project. It's quick compaction reduced project completion time, which resulted in the yard being utilized quickly.
