Hold back river water during local blasting operations.


Titan Solution

Titan supplied 13 cofferdam tubes of varying lengths for a water treatment plant outfall pipe installation on the bank of the Winnipeg River. To complete the installation, the contractor needed to blast through local bedrock along the riverbank, which required holding back the surrounding river water. They turned to Titan for a solution, and we recommended cofferdams—tube-like structures made from industrial-grade PVC. Easily deployed and inflated with river water, the cofferdams quickly formed a temporary dike, effectively keeping water away from the blast zone and enabling safe, dry working conditions.
