The slopes on a mine tailings dam were prone to wave erosion and a high performing erosion control solution was needed.

Initially, the client planned to use rip rap rock or an alternative turf reinforcement; however, considering the performance requirements, Titan recommended the ARMORMAX® system—a more durable and long-lasting solution. This soft armoring vegetative system features PYRAMAT®, a high-performance woven polypropylene turf reinforcement mat, securely anchored with Engineered Earth Anchors to deliver superior slope stability.
